Waahoo they finally did it 11 for 11

My little golden comets finally did it. 11 eggs for 11 hens.
I feel like dancing a jig and would if I was not too old for
such things.

Congratulations. May I ask how old are your chickens when they first layed
and how long did it take for all of them to follow ?

That is too cool! I too have 11 hens, and I too experienced my first 11 egg day a few days ago. Generally we are at 9-10 eggs per day, every once in a while as few as 7 or 8, but we've only had one 11 egg day over here. Mine are 8 months old and a mixed flock of RIRs, Dominiques, Black Australorps and Easter Eggers.

So happy for you, mine are now 18 or 19 weeks and I only get one a day. Small eggs but double yolks, Hope your production keeps up and would like to know if it does.
