Wafer thermostat

I just got my first incubator with a wafer thermostat, I'm trying to adjust. I think I'm doing it right, start out temp was 95 and I'm turning the shaft 1/4 turn at a time to reach proper temp, is this right?

Its a Hovabator 1602n

Sure. 1/4 turns to get close then small turns to fine tune it. Wafers take a few times to adjust. Some use a sealed bottle of water for a heat sink. Just make sure you get it dialed in before setting eggs.
