Martha seems better today! I set her food and water upon a private pen in the yard in the grass under a tree. I was outside in the yard with her all day keeping an eye on her. She ate some fresh fruit and pecked the ground. I was doing some digging so I scored a handful of earth worms for her, put them in a pan for her....she didn't eat them. Never saw her drink but doubt she didn't. She is pooping good. Still making weird noises, now it's kinda like a cough ( no facial discharge). But the crying wailing has subsided. Put her back into garage kennel for the night. Still sensitive where her feathers are goofy, but not as bad as yesterday. I too thought about a fall but the coop is super low, the roost bar is about 12-18 inches off the ground and so is her nest box. Can't imagine she could get hurt that way. Oh, I did get some wormer and some antibiotics. Just to be sure. I think she has something in her crop, my quail friend thought it sounds like that. Feeling better she seemed better today tho. Thanks for all the help!
