Wait..why is cedar bad for brooder?

I was planning on getting some...why should I not? What should I look for instead? I'm somewhat limited to the local pet stores, although I suppose I could make a run to the feed store in Malibu...

Use pine shavings... I think the cedar ones will kill the chickens...
