Waiting for babies to hatch is like watching paint dry!

We have eggs under our broody hen. I candled at 8 days and had 4 non viable, the less look great. I have realized I am an impatient person...never would have thought this as I am a teacher and have taught 4-5 year olds.

This...is torture....

Anyone with me on this?

My broody is on day 19ish right now! My first broody hatch!! I knew I was impatient before but this is killing me!! She has 9 eggs under her, candled yesterday and looking good. Aahhhhhhhh.

Here's fluffy lookin like a tired mom already.

What all the fuss is about...

She started with 12, broke one which dirtied 2 more, so we are "locking down" with 9!! 2 more days!
