i need advice! We had our hens in our garage in a nice coop and a nice run for a couple of months and they were SO noisy! So, this weekend we moved them outside once we got a nice big pen built for them and their coop. They were so quiet during the day, just pecking around....then last night, while Fancy was laying an egg they were hollering and it woke us up! I'm so attached to these girls and we live in a neighborhood where you are not legally allowed to own them (oh well!)...HOWEVER, i left their coop light on all night...think they will be quieter when they lay if i turn the light off? Thank you!
