When she got crushed it didn't kill her but it injured her badly. She saw a pool of blood under her. She whimpered. The buck was thrashing but not as much as before. It was loosing lots of blood.

Hougen bit the jugular and jumped off and watched the elk die "There we go.."hougen turn to see Metalclaw "Metalclaw you ok"said Hougen
She gasped and managed to rasp out."yes".she wiggled out from under the buck and saw that her paw had been crushed. But other than that it was ok. It was gushing out lots of blood but not to much.
She limped over to Hougen and sat down close beside him.

Hougen smiled "you can have the first bit"said Hougen
She smiled back and stood up. She leaned her head down toward the buck and ripped of a nice juicy chunk of meat. She chewed it slowly and after she had swallowed it she licked her lips and sat down right beside Hougen again. This time really close. She lied her head down and curled half of her body around Hougens.

Shakira roared, and fell to the ground, blood splattering her black coat. She tried aimlessly to hurt Nisa in any way. She died slowly, and blood pooled below her.
Metalclaw looked puzzled and didn't know how to react because this was one of her pack mates and would do nothing to hurt her. She just stared at her with questioning iciy blue eyes
