Metalclaw woke up. She grunted and stood up. Her belly was popping out were other wolves could notice. She waddled over to a nice comfy spot down by the river and lied down watching the river flow.

Terra smiled and rubbed against her son, watching the wolves rejoice.

Terra jumped off the rock and went into the holes to help wolves out that couldn't get themselves out. Then she went into the woods. She came back a few minutes later with an elk. "Starving wolves eat first!" she howled. "I can always get another!"

She stood up wobbling a bit and went to get a drink. She walked very slow and bent down, ears back and lapped up the water. She felt a sharp pain in her stomach. She whimpered but knew it was the pups.she walked back up to her comfy spot, layed back down and listened to the sounds around her. She watched the sunset.
