Moondrop looked at Mahala. "You'll have to ask the Alpha about that," she said.

Shakira turned away. She turned a little red. No one had ever worried about her safety. She turned back to Stagleap. "Thanks," she said, embarrassed. She felt awkward. She had never felt like this before. She stood up, and slowly padded away.

Moondrop watched Genba. She didn't like something about him. She padded over to Mika. "Mika," she whispered, "is it just me or is Genba acting strange?"
