As the white enveloped Ice, she spoke out loud without realizing:
"I’m blacker then the night.
I love to sleep in caves.
I only appear at my appreciate time
During the night of the moon
I walk for miles looking for food and shelter.
I drink water to keep my strength up
I love the rain when it pours because it lifts my spirit up.
Mother earth is looking down on me and protecting me.
I can always tell she is with me when
The wind blows around me.
If you cross path me
Then I have no choice but to fight you
I don’t want to hurt you
But it is part of life.
I kill to protect my honor.
I kill to protect myself.
I kill to protect my dreams.
I kill to protect my pride.
I kill to protect my innocence.
I kill to protect my parent’s pack.
Not only do I hunt
But most importantly I look for love
I look for a pack of my very own.
I do treasure my parent’s and where I come from.
But having a pack helps our kind to grow even stronger.
But I’m feared by others,
Who are not like me.
They fear me because of my dark black skin.
I remind them of a dark storm.
I wish for someday to be accepted from my very own kind.
One day while I was hunting
I was stop by a beautiful sight.
A ray of light was shining on this wolf.
The wind was blowing towards the wolf.
I froze because I never saw anything so gorgeous
The wolf was whiter then the winter snow.
And with golden eyes so bright like the sun.
And then that moment, the wolf looked up at me
And was starring back at me.
The beat of my heart was playing a song.
I walked towards the wolf slowly
But it started running away from me.
I kept chasing it and asking it to stop.
Faith was not with me.
The next day, I saw the wolf again at the same spot.
This time, the wolf approached me.
The wolf then clearly said with these words
“At long last I have found my other half. You are the one I been searching for. I’m sorry that I ran away from you, but I was caught off guard by the beauty of your black skin.”
I asked for her name.
And she replied with,
“My name is snow”.
She then asked for my name,
My name is “night”.
Then we rubbed neck to neck.
I been searching for a wolf that accepted my black dark skin
I can now go home with her.
And to hope begin a pack.
We both walked towards the very highest rock.
Then that very moment
We howled as loud as we could.
It was a sign to my mother that I have found her.
My white wolf."
