Ice nuzzled him back, and hugged him. (stood to the side of him and rested her chin on his back.) she felt a warmth spread through her. the pendent Soul Reaper gave her began to glow, brighter and brighter, flashing red and white, Ice and Clyde's very soul colours. the colours began to swirl and entertwine. the brightness forced Ice to close her eyes.

the circle on Soul's forehead began to flicker red and white. the red puzzled him, but he recognized the white. taking to flight, he beat his massive white wings and flew steadily to the red and white glows of ice and clyde's souls.
