I have a EE baby chick which was born yesterday morning with curled toes. They are more curled on one foot than the other. Yesterday he was not able to walk on his feet, but instead scooted around the floor of his brooder on his legs and bottom. Today however, he is walking and doing a great job! I tried taping his toes/feet to small pieces of cardboard as suggested in others post, but they didn't last long. He's a very healthy looking chick otherwise. Should I try again to tape his little toes straight, or leave well enough alone?

Both feet need taping. Get those toes straight or it will be much harder for her as an adult. She won't be able to grip a perch, and make it easier for a predator to get her. You can even use medical tape, and put one piece on the bottom of the foot, and straighten all the toes. They'll be stuck to the sticky side of the tape, and then put another piece of tape on the top of them. That should hold the little toes in place for a few days. When the tape is no longer sticky, reassess and see if she needs them retaped for another few days.

Darling chick!!

Good Luck!

Like they said earlier: Make that baby some shoes today!
I use a piece of cardboard the size of the foot and tape it down for 3 days on 2 days off until it straightens out. I have a 6 month old chick named tiptoe. We have done everything possible to straighten out her feet and they just want to be curled. Hers are so bad she has problems with balance. When she hatched her feet were in tight fists and not just curled so yours are likely to be normal.
Most others straighten out and you cannot tell by a month old.
I would do something soon.
