Walking with Chickens; Watching them grow

I usually put 2 week olds outside. They can find their own bugs and grit . Or if you find a nice juicy worm or grub, give it to them and watch the fiasco. At 3 weeks old I introduced mine to meal worms. That's their favorite

well mine havent been outside yet, but they have had a worm from the yard.
And some meal worms. I think I got jipped on them said 35 ct. I dont thnk so. not sure where

Next time I will count them first..
where can I find a list of foods . Do's and Dont's?

WOW i haven't been on here for a long time!!! @butch good- I put my chicks out to the coop soon after. they were fine, and they are now almost four months old!!!!!

I checked out the Treat list.... But I have dogs, 3. What about left over dry dog food (it is high protein as I have a puppy so feed all three varying amounts of large breed puppy food) ?They scatter it everywhere and I like to toss it into the chicken run-- Anyone? Thanx.

i now have 2 pullets that are laying!! one august 3rd, 17 weeks and 3 days. and the other today, aguast 6th, at 17 weeks and 6 days.
