WalMart Rant

Walmart doesn't have any morals. They're only out to make money. The Walmart here, if you had a prescription to get filled and it was urgent that you got your meds, it would take at least 2 days to get it. When the daughter in law started working at the pharmacy everything changed for the better and now that she's not there anymore the pharmacy went back to the before she was hired. I tried to ask an employee where something was or if they had (not sure what it was), and she gave me a bad attitude and said I'm off duty go ask someone else or find it yourself. I told her that she didn't have the right to give me an attitude. California doesn't allow alcohol to sold at self checkout but the registers that have an employee that are open is only 1 or 2. What's the point of owning a business if you're not going to make sure you're customers are happy with the service. I despise Walmart

It's really a problem everywhere. I personally will not go bankrupt from an over charge here or there, but it's the principle of the thing. Wrong is wrong. And I have been behind people in line who are literally counting their change in order to pay for a few basics, and having to put things back. It really, really matters to many people, and means doing with little, or without, for them. The only thing the companies really care about are profits, so I take my dollars elsewhere as much as I can. That is really the only thing that they listen to. :(

I have actually paid for a person to get the food they need. It's so pathetic that the businesses are more concerned about profit over humanity. The electric company here in California has been given too many approvals for rate hikes and what is worse is that the people that are supposed to protect the people from the electric companies rate hikes is just approving them like it's the best thing to do. When I got solar in 2020 I was told that my bill would go down and no it's only going up. Right now I have an electric bill for over 3500 dollars. They're expecting me to pay it in full.

I used to live in California. Left about 16+ years ago, never looked back. Lived in the dark, never ran A/C, still had ridiculous electric bills, military family with 3 kids just trying to get by. California is SO broken. I have paid for others as well on occasion, sometimes it's hard to do without embarrassing or humiliating them (unintentionally). One of the first things I heard when I moved to Florida was "Welcome to the free world." It's tough for people everywhere right now, some places are tougher than others. All we can do is try to be part of the light and not part of the darkness, however we are able.
