Thanks everybody I was born in Louisiana small world!
well I found a coop I like, I plan to go look at it this weekend its 6x8 and I think its very well made.
I'm not sure how many chickens I can have in this size but I plan to only have 4 maybe 6 what do you think?

Welcome to BYC! I'm fairly new, too - have had my chickens only a week - but I bought 4-month old pullets. So I hope to have eggs soon. I LOVE the coop you found. I think it would be big enough for a lot of chickens!

you guys are awesome!! it's great to see chicken people all over the country.
I'm sure I will be asking lots of questions I was thinking last night if I want a rooster
to go along with the hens how would I go about it because I dont want fertilized eggs?
I know its probably a dumb question lol I keep telling myself there are no dumb questions the only
dumb ones are the ones not asked. anyhow as you can tell I don't know much about chicken keeping
