My names Rachel and I'm looking to give a loving home to a couple (or more) of battery hens. I have posted some questions so hopefully those will be answered soon. Never actually had chickens, but hoping to change that soon

It's a great thing to give some battery hens a better life. Run a search for "battery hen" in Emergencies/Diseases/Injuries. I was researching some diseases and saw multiple people had posted problems with battery hens like internal laying and shedding live viruses (ILT maybe?) given to them during their confinement. If you're only adopting battery hens and don't own other birds, then it shouldn't be a problem. Best of luck! I know they'll enjoy their new lease on life.
