This is Nibbles, about six months, pekin.

And this is Quacks, about five months, ?
Does anyone know what gender these two are? I was guessing drakes, (they act boyish) but I'm starting to doubt myself. Nibbles has a very raspy voice but doesn't have any drake feathers. Quacks also has a very raspy voice, but we aren't sure what breed he/she is, so I'm not sure what to look for. Any guesses on the breed? He/she looked like a mallard duckling when I first got him/her, but the guy said his/her momma was black and white?

Quacks looks like a Muscovy to me (or Muscovy hybrid?). Muscovy ducklings do look similar to Mallards sometimes. Not sure on the sexes, hopefully someone else can help with that. Are they old enough to have the drake feathers show?

I though they were, but I know it can sometimes take longer for them to show. Thanks!

What is it? I thought that when it was younger and uped the amount of feed I was giving them but they didn't eat any more than usual. Hm

No it is just that some runners stand tall and others stand like most ducks. For the runner breed it is poor stance but it does not hurt them. Just not show quality. Some of my runners stand like that.
