They are approaching 6 wks old. As for the tails, idk what's up with that lol.

Still a bit early to be certain, but I have never had a chick colored like that first one that didn't turn out male.

I thought so too, but one of mine looked like the first and turned into a beautiful hen.

I did have luck sexing my five chicks with the wing feather test.

This may not help till there older but most of the time cockerel chicks will have one of the biggest comb compared with the others and also the do a lot more fighting than pullet chicks, and I know that the are laying down a pecking order but the cockerel chicks will be noticeable more aggressive with one another.
