I have a group of 5. They are gorgeous!!! Huge beards and crests!
I will have eggs and chicks in the spring.... they are not laying now.

Peachick!, you had to post pics! I want some BLP hatching eggs and I have been looking for them for for ever!

that is an Exchequer Leghorn.... here is a pic of the Roo They are a "rare" breed. I just got them in the fall and havent added them to my web site yet. They lay large white eggs, and are kind of flighty.... but not as flighty as the polish.

(forgive the dirty coop - the wild birds took up residence in there this year and bombed it!!)

I thought it might be, but I couldn't be sure. Beautiful birds, I love all types of mottling! And that tail! I think a lot of people don't really think about Leghorns as pretty chickens, but the males can be splendid. I used to have a brown leghorn roo named Popo (poe-poe), just a fantastic looking bird! If I didn't have a thing for EE's, I would probably get some more. And I'm rambling...

I have buff-laced polish and selling eggs but I only have a trio. Here's mine..................
