want nice hatching eggs HELP!

I have three suggestions:

Pasofinofarm... Has wheaten and blue wheaten. I have 6 pullets hatched out from her eggs
(Melissa)
Pips & Peeps... I have a pair of her Blue Ameraucanas
(Jean)
Dipsy Doodle Doo... I hatched out 8 of her blue/black and splash Ameraucanas. I got 3 splash, 3 black, 1 blue and a buff/splash EE.
(Lisa)

look them up on here and either PM or e-mail them.

They are all wonderful!

Do you want Bantam Ameraucans or standard?

And I am now a little confused. I know that the Araucanas are rumples and a little unusual. Most people have the Ameraucanas. Right? I thought Easter Eggers were just sort of a shorthand way of referring to them.

Anyway, if you wanted the Banties, I think I could point you in the right direction. I got some test eggs from someone and although they haven't hatched yet they appear to be doing VERY well.

Araucanas and Ameraucanas are two distinct breeds. They may or may not be related. They lay blue eggs. Ameraucanas may lay blue-green eggs, too.

EE's are mutts, they are crosses between either of the two above breeds, mixed with anything else, and lay any color from blue to olive green, and sometimes lay brown. They can lay what are called "pink" eggs, but they're really kind of a pinkish light brown.

There are other breeds that lay blue eggs, I suppose EE's could also be crosses from those.

Many hatcheries sell EE's as Ameraucanas. I ordered some from MHM, and got EE's, not the Ameraucanas I ordered. I'm not sure how they get away with this, in other businesses, such practices would be considered fraud.

This adds to the confusion, because so many folks have ordered Araucanas and Ameraucanas from hatcheries, and received EE's, but don't know it.
