want to add more adult hens

I have 4 golden buff,1.5yr old had 10 but a Fox got 6 of them a friend of mine has 2 Rhode island reds and 6 Wyandottes all are laying that I can have. I have a coop 8x12 with a 4x20 chicken run. Should I introduce them by keeping old ones in the run n New ones in the coop? N just put chickenwire over chicken door so they can see each other but can't pick on each other. I don't have a rooster. But like to get one. Just for the morning call n to keep the girls in line n keep critters at bay until my dogs hear and get down to the coop, to take care of the problem. Thanks for any help.

i put a wire dog cage inside the coop with the new bird for about 3-4 days and when i let him out , everybody was fine. he was a rooster and i had to many hens for one.
