I first would like to know is do people really move coops that often. I never have had any customers request for a portable coop but thought I might make one just for kicks. But if anyone uses a portable coop, I would love to know how it worked out for you.
I would also like to know how big can I make one? My most popular coops are 3x4 and they weight about 150 LBS. Here is a photo example below. If I am to make this portable, would it be too much of a hassle to move such a thing, or should I make a smaller coop.

Thanks ALL

It's a very attractive coop design. To make it lighter you might consider a more simplified roof without complex gables. You provide a lot of glass space, which is heavy in and of itself. Perhaps less, and of the plexiglass variety. If you are framing with 2x4 lumber that is probably overkill. 2x2's using proper fasteners and techniques is just as strong and half the weight. I will be interested to see how you proceed.

Problem is I want to keep that look along with the rest of my coop models. I am using 2x2's, But the Foundation is built with treated 4x4's and the roof gets pretty dang heavy with shingles. I was thinking about building the roof out of light cedar instead of shingles and this can possibly make it easier and lighter. I am a sucker for windows, I love making them, but maybe on this next model I make I will down grade on my windows. The next coop I am making has a water mill type of look to it. I hope it works out well.
PS: Here is what the inside look on my coops.
