Here's another feeder that eliminates all waste. Has 4" deep feed area. After installing, feed lasts twice as long, no waste whatsoever. Can hold up to 50 lbs. I modified mine with a deer feeder that hangs over and drops food in twice daily. App. 5lbs/day.

You can start your pullets at 18 weeks on the layer pellets...Oyster shell also...
