Want to turn whole thing into coop? Water proof too? Help!

To be fair, apart from the price, I would have looked at this coop when I first started, especially if I lived I town and couldn't have as many birds as I do now

It is sometimes confusing to know when they talk about coop in a total confinement situation and run which is an exercise area. Or a chicken yard not a run. A novice thinks a coop is a coop and run. My coop is four foot square floor space for each chicken. I don't have a run I have a chicken yard with three coops. I think a lot of novice thinks coop is all that their chickens need. Still the commercial coops are to small for how many chickens are supposed to be housed in them. My neighbor bought one it said it would house 7-9 chickens. We agreed that two chickens would be comfortable in it.
