I got a dozen B/B/S Turken hatching eggs from James (jmhappycowboy). He sent 4 extras, so I wound up with 16 eggs.
They hatched yesterday, exactly on schedule, and all in one day (why are my birds never that organized?

)
Twelve tried to hatched! A dozen chicks! Sadly, two did not quite make it out of the shell because my humidity level was not right (and three more were developed, but never pipped).
So, I order 12 eggs, get 16, 15 develop, 12 try to hatch, and I now have 10 perfect chicks! That is superb rates for shipped eggs!!!

I also only got Blue, Black, and Splash chicks... no buff ones as James worried I might. Some are bow-tied, and some are not. They are just precious

I second that. I got 2 batches of eggs from him and had a excellent hatch

I'll have to keep him in mind. I've been wanting turkens for a long time. Got eggs once, but were so badly packed and damaged, never incubated. I have some nn's from dipsydoodle under a broody right now, and due in 2 weeks.
