Hi everyone,

I'm new to the list and new to guinea fowl although I've done enough reading and talking to people to know that they are great for the controlling the tick population which I'm have a lot of difficulty with. I would like to get 6 or 8 guinea keets to roam over 3 1/2 acres. Is there a breeder in the Central FL area? I'm in east Orlando.

Thanks so much.

Kim

welcome to BYC from Ocala

and sorry i dont know who has the keets, Bump

If you have an incubator i can ship you eggs if you dont find any close to you. Or if you willing to try i can ship keets a few weeks old and put some oranges in the box with them. If your wondering oranges give them vitamins and food and the juice in them supply the liquids they need. If recieved live birds before like that. In 2 wks ill have some hatch and can ship them out the day they are born. Young chicks can survive 3 days off the yoke they suck up but you may lose them due to stress of shipping. i live in louisiana so its not that far to ship
