I need 6 to 8 pullets to complete my free-range flock. They need to be 8 weeks+ (younger might be fine within reason, like maybe 6 weeks). It doesn't matter what breed, as long as they are a good laying breed and can withstand hot Texas Gulf Coast weather. I am located East of Houston, TX and can P/U within reasonable distance (maybe within an hour or so of Liberty, TX). Breeds that I can think of that are proven performers here are Australorp, EE, Ameraucana, sex-links, "mixed breeds", light weights...
