Hi!

I am looking for some bantam chicks for my boys. We have swedish flower hens now, but my boys would like some small chickens that are easier for them to handle.

We are looking for silkie (Splash or partridge), sebrights (gold or silver) and d'uccle (mille fluer).

We are in the Cincinnati area, but willing to drive 2ish hours to pick up.

Thanks!

well i had a good breed that is a easy small loveable breed for u try geting an old english game bantam u can literly pick them up with one hand thanks if you listen

We have bantam partridge wyandottes, we have found some of the other bantam breeds you listed to be more flighty than these they are the most docile and gentle breed we have come across and we are hatching them weekly if you were interested. They would be perfect for a young child in 4-H. If you are interested email me @ [email protected]

I wish you were closer! I just got chicks in this am and received 5 gold wing OEGB that I didn't order. They were NOT freebies. They didn't have one color of D'Uccles I ordered so I askedor the replacements to be more Seabrights. Now I have to call them!
I will also have have extra Sebrights, D'Uccles (porcelain and Mille Fleur), and White-faced Black Spanish....all bantams. I have Silkie crosses and maybe purebred Silkies in the incubator...the crosses are with a salmon Faverolles roo. It would be like one stop shopping.
My D'Uccles, Sebrights, and white-faced black Spanish bantams were all quite tame. My Sebreight hen was the one that really liked being carried around under my arm!.
I lost mine last yr to hawks and drowning in my goldfish pond. Now I will keep them in the pen and the pen is to be covered.
Bantams come unsexed and I got extras so I hopefully would get at least 1 roo and 1 hen from what I ordered...5 of each except 10 D'Uccles. I have had OEGB before and never want any again. They were quite unfriendly, ugly with the other chickens, and I just hate their looks....their heads/faces. Of course I do prefer beards, top knots, tufted cheeks and feathery legs in most of my chickens. Gonna love my Apenzellers!!
I really hope you can find what you are looking for!

OH...BTW the bantam in my pic is my white-faced black Spanish bantam roo. My grandchildren loved picking him up and carrying him aound! This granddaughter is 4 in the pic and before his face had completely turned white.

I don't know if you would be interested in roo chicks or not, but if you are, I have (4) - 4-5 week old d'uccle chicks you could have. I am located about 1 hour northwest of Columbus, OH.
