I started with 11 bantams that are straight run and I got 5 roos and 6 hens, when I moved them outside one chick got out and a hawk got it. That upset me, so I chased after the hawk into the woods and shot at it with a be be gun until it left my dead chick. I brought the dead chick back home and buried it. Today I had all my chicks which are more like chickens today, and I went to the doctors and came back and my buff silkie roo disappeared, I didn't see any feathers indicating that a hawk or something got him. I have a feeling that he has been chickennapped and Its because my chickens are friendly and I feel like someone took him, also it has been months since I lost my first chick. I would like to have more hens because I have 6 hens and now 3 roos and I had 4. I'm in West Columbia SC
