$$$ NAME YOUR PRICE PLEASE $$$ I am looking to add a very broody hen to my flock to hatch the occasional clutch of 4-6 standard sized chicken eggs. I understand that Silkies and Standard Cochins are a very broody breed. I would be interested in either breed, in any color, and from 8 months to 2 years old. I can pay shipping or if you live near Pittsburg California, I might be able to pickup.
The broody will be housed with up to a dozen standard to heavy egg laying hens and I would prefer if she were friendly and docile as she will be held by children. If you have another very broody breed let me know.
