silkieluver - yeah i just realized how far away you are from lebanon. that's a shame that you have to go so far just to participate in 4H. Wouldn't Dauphin county 4H be closer? My sister in law works with that group.

sara - thanks for the offer but i think for now we are sticking with just hens. that's the plan anyway. we've got a toddler running around and i wouldn't want a rooster to consider his bobbling around to be a threat

Thank you for letting me know that she was joking, I will try to remember that in the future, no harm done to me because that offer wasnt directed at me, good thing no one got hurt in a transaction gone bad.

Your welcome. I think that she just meant that it wasn't a big deal if he didn't want them. I could be wrong though.
