In the Brooder
I have a broody sitting on infertile eggs right now and I 'd like to swap them out for something to hatch, but I hate to make her set too long before I do that. I'd worry about her if she goes a month brooding.
It took me 3 days to find her sneaky hidden clutch, so she's been setting for almost a week now. I also hate to try and break her broodiness this far in - she really means business at this point.
I'm looking to get something quick. I have Welsummer and Marans available local, but would like to add something new to my backyard flock of dark egg layers.
