I am wanting to buy fertile eggs that are NOT barnyard mix's. I have brown egg layers in my back yard and it's personal preference to have pure breeds to hatch. I do not sell or show chickens - it's for only our enjoyment! All I can get around here are barn yard mixed fertile eggs. Anyone have any egg layer fertile eggs that are not mixed breed?? Seriously, I have a brooder that I want to get some eggs for. She's got that broody patch and is grouchy, and yet let's me still hand feed her. I would like to really try to get some eggs hatched from her. She sits on her nest day and night ... only getting up for the others to lay there UNfertile eggs in her next box. Somehow she's got a deal going with the other girls for them to lay an egg on "her" nest box.

No roosters here ... so I'm needing fertile eggs ... now
