Wow I didn't know Yukon had a chicken breeding farm. I will do some asking around and see what I can find out and let you know. I've always ordered my chicks from McMurray.

I'm meeting Marlys at 11:00 tomorrow. Aflac is my dads duck, we have having Christmas at their house tomorrow night. I hope all this works out so I can surprise him with a hen duck. Keep your 'chicken feet/toes' crossed..haha I can't wait to meet her and her ducks. I'll keep ya posted. Thanks again

A Christmas duck, how sweet!

OH what a day! I met Marlys and went to the WildCare and got a 'rescued' hen pekin duck!!! I gave her to my dad for Christmas tonight...he was VERY surprised!! She will meet Aflac in the morning

She has a gimpy foot (bumblefoot

) but I think she will work out well. Time will tell. I'll keep ya posted. Thanks for the lead... We named her CHRISTMAS.

It's a MATCH! It took 'Christmas' (the new hen duck) a little bit to put Aflac in his place...but all is well. haha I put her in the swimming pool day and Aflac quickly followed. They both were clean and happy when they 'went to their room' (heated shop) tonight! I'll post pictures later. Thanks for EVERYONE'S help! My dad was sooo surprised. Christmas is bigger than Aflac...dad thought she was a goose until he got our out of the crate. Thanks again
