wanted: partner for mail ordering chicks (Hancock County (Maine)

I'd like to order at least a dozen chicks through the mail but would like a partner to share shipping costs. If another person, for instance wanted a dozen, our cost per chick would be around $3.50 which is comparable to what my feed store wants. I would buy locally but I don't want to wait until July to buy.

I'm buying Australorps but obviously you can order anything.

You can put together a nice egg layer order and sell the extras on CL. If you have the brooder space raising them until they are off heat makes them very attractive and will pay for your chicks.
