Wanted: Rooster

Hello I am in need of a good rooster. I would prefer a Yellow Buff Orpington but would take a Rhode Island Red, Barred Rock or something along those lines. Looking for one at least 8 months old. My Yellow Buff Orpington hen is lonely since her mate ( my favorite rooster ever) has gone on to the big coop in the sky. If you are in South Alabama and have one you would consider letting go please let me know. Thanks

I think I have been talking to your husband on another forum. He is the one who told me about the Bantam Show in Clanton on the 17th. I will be there but I don't think my wife will let a rooster ride home in the car with us.

It's easy. Dog crate. And crack the windows....hahaha.

Put the dog crate in the back seat and tell her you have no intentions on getting any chickens. But on the way back from the Show you might run across a lost chicken (at say a gas station) and it is your responsiblity as a chicken breeder to ensure he finds a great home. I'll have you a rooster waiting!
