WANTED – FLASHY RUSSIAN ORLOFF ROOSTER. In search of (wanting to get or would like referrals to someone who has) a flashy, Splash colored Russian Orloff cockerel or Rooster. Want a large breed (not Bantams), with a lot of white, lighter colors – we are looking for color; we won’t be showing (pets and eggs only, not for meat), so does not need to be “show quality”.
If young, prefer off heat; if older, prefer under 2 years. Anti-social is okay, but do not want aggressive to adults (we don’t have kids, so if they’ve been aggressive to just kids that’d be okay) and would like to have one that isn’t hard on the hens.
Have a well cared-for mixed flock of 12 right now with several Orloff pullets/hens that are looking for a Mister. They have a nice big coop, with a 20x40 run. We feed organic food, and extra treats of fruits and veggies. Safe to say that they are a bit spoiled, LOL! ;-)
We’re located in Grapeview (Belfair/Shelton, Mason County, Washington state), but willing to travel from northern WA to Portland (Oregon) for the right boy. If you have (or know of) a handsome fella that might be what we’re looking for, let me know and send pictures too please? If not free, please also include the price you’re asking.
