I am open to various breeds that are suitable for free-ranging. Not the "wild turkeys," as this means getting a permit from the PGC.

If you expect to have poults available in the spring, please let me know.

Hi, I have a 4 year old Bourbon Red Turkey girl that I got a few weeks ago. I really did not want a turkey but she came with all the chickens I got from a lady. I was told she loves to lay eggs and she gets along very well with the chickens. I would love to find a new home for her - preferably where she does not end up in a fryer.
Please let me know if you are interested. I live about 40 min. north of Pittsburgh.

Hi Fombellchicks --

I sent you a private message; I see you are new here, so I figured I'd point it out. There will be a little icon near the top of the screen telling you to check your inbox.

Yes, I believe I am interested in the hen.

I will be selling Royal Palm turkey poults this spring and am taking pre-orders. Let me know if this heritage turkey is of interest.
