(1) Are you new to chickens / when did you first get chickens?
I have had chickens and waterfowl since I was a child (grew up on a hobby farm) now that I have my own children my hubby and I want to introduce them to the wonderful world of raising animals.
(2) How many chickens do you have right now?
I have 5 pulleys about to lay and 8 3wk old chicks we hatched as well as 2 month old ducks
(3) What breeds do you have?
2 Columbian barred rocks
2 black sexlinks
1 red Pyle
1 golden laced Wyandotte
7 silkies ( ones a roo we think)
My ducks are rouen
(4) How did you find out about BackYardChickens.com?
I was reading some articles about incubation. Been visiting the site for months such a great community I thought I would join
(5) What are some of your other hobbies?
I love to create art, ATV riding, crochet and cook
(6) Tell us about your family, your other pets, your occupation, or anything else you'd like to share.
I have 2 beautiful children and a wonderful hubby. We have a chocolate lab fur baby named milo. We have plans to get some more animals like a goat and pigs
