wanted to share a tip which helped me to reduce food waste!

Just wanted to share a small tip. It is very simple - I soak chicken feed in the water until it wet and sticky , put it in the deeper bowl ,and voila - nothing gets on the floor.
I was SO tired of finding half of the feed on the floor every day, but now - guess what - no food on the floor. And they seem to like it better this way - works for chicks and grown-ups!

I do that too. Right now with the weather being so cold I have to make sure I don't pout out too much or it will freeze and then they cant eat it. In the summer make sure you don't put out too much or it will mold.

yeah, thankfully here in Northwest we do not have much frost. I usually put the amount approximately enough for two days.

I do that too and it makes it go further, put 2 scoops in and get 3 scoops out.
