Thank you so much, that is so sweet! You can tell there ain't a fancy bone in my body, lol. I just like the rustic style buildings...reminds my of my grandpa's farm.

The hen house looks fantastic, Beth! I won't be showing it to Mr. Bojangles, though, he'd want to run back to you and live in the fancy new digs!

Although perhaps not, he does have a harem of 11 lovely ladies here...

Awww, how awesome. Glad to hear he is doing well. I really miss hearing his crow! I was wondering if he got too mean and became stew yet, lol

Oh, he's mean alright! LOL But he has more than once protected his girls from stray dogs and raccoons, so he has earned his freedom from having close proximity to dumplings!

...it is gonna be awesome...so rustic !! ...like back in the olden days!!

We used sassafras poles for our roost..thought you might like to see them??

Hello! love your coop! The rustic look is my favorite! no fancy shmancy!
I don't have any pics of inside my coop, but I also just used branches from a pear tree i had to trim down a summer before. Same as the run area!
I need to download some new pics! My nesting boxes are set inside the cabin my coop is attached to,..just the boxes. I wanted to gather eggs with my daycare kids, and not have to go in the coop or hang out in the rain..or mud!
