wanted: two or three pullets in NC

Hello! I am very new to chicken ownership, having adopted a stray hen just last week. I would love to get two or three more pullets to keep her company. I am interested in getting black or red stars, or another "good " brown egg layer.I live in the NC piedmont area. I am so glad I stumbled upon this forum..I have learned so much already!!
