peeps -

I've been meaning to do that, my batteries died in my camera and I got new ones yesterday and it was raining I'll try and get some pics today of all of the ones I have forsale.

corey-
excuse me for asking a stupid question....but are red sex links the same or similar to red stars?? I have been told that red and black stars are good layers, so I was leaning towards getting some...
My husband is partial to brown eggs (why I don't know, they taste the same to me!!) so I was thinking about getting brown egg layers.

I do like the look of the Buff orps and the barred rocks though....Decisions, decisions!

Shook Poultry (just google that name) here in the Western Piedmont can get you started pullets in March. I'm getting 10 Gold Comets from them, they are brown egg layers.

Yep red-stars are the same as red sex-link, red star is just a hatchery name.

These pullets should start laying at least by the end of Febuary and the hens are going through a molt but they are good layers when laying.

Here they are, you'll probably notice a lot of my buff orp roo, Moses, he was very interested in what I was doing.
