How tall is "very tall"? How badly do you want to ride? I'll bet it's possible to get a bike for your height. If you're only as tall as a tall-but-not-unusual male, you shouldn't have much trouble. If you're significantly taller than that, you'd likely need a custom bicycle. You'd have to want it. Decent bikes are pricey (to me), even without the challenge of having one specially made.
OTOH, bike riding is wonderful. There's just no way to describe it—you have to experience it on a beautiful trail, on a fine early spring morning. There's nothing like it. Incredible. It's excellent exercise, faster than walking, way better even than a sweet, silly Hallmark movie.
