I’m 5’ 11” (I actually might be like 5’ 10 3/4 now, I’m shrinking LOLHow tall is "very tall"? How badly do you want to ride? I'll bet it's possible to get a bike for your height. If you're only as tall as a tall-but-not-unusual male, you shouldn't have much trouble. If you're significantly taller than that, you'd likely need a custom bicycle. You'd have to want it. Decent bikes are pricey (to me), even without the challenge of having one specially made.
OTOH, bike riding is wonderful. There's just no way to describe it—you have to experience it on a beautiful trail, on a fine early spring morning. There's nothing like it. Incredible. It's excellent exercise, faster than walking, way better even than a sweet, silly Hallmark movie.

SIL bikes a lot both mountain and road so I bet she could help me but you’re right, bikes are very expensive. I was looking last night just for curiosity sake and I had no idea. 
but I’m sure we have plenty that will work haha
and I do like hiking. But I don’t really like regular walking on the road so maybe I’ll do biking for that. Idk.
Have you ever watched the news and then actually visited the place being talked about (or they were talking about your own town)? People just make stuff up. When they're in between completely made up stories, they exaggerate clear to the moon and beyond. It's incredible to me, but they absolutely do it.Right!? like.... oh yeah there’s never been any physical evidence in forever but suddenly a perfect sample of “Bigfoot hair” just happens to get stuck in the exact fence they are examining and then the sample just happens to “disappear” before they can analyze it 
I don’t know how these shows are even popular. That and the alien ones, ghost hunters, etc. It’s obvious they’re fake 
but I guess people just like the entertainment?
