How tall is "very tall"? How badly do you want to ride? I'll bet it's possible to get a bike for your height. If you're only as tall as a tall-but-not-unusual male, you shouldn't have much trouble. If you're significantly taller than that, you'd likely need a custom bicycle. You'd have to want it. Decent bikes are pricey (to me), even without the challenge of having one specially made.

OTOH, bike riding is wonderful. There's just no way to describe it—you have to experience it on a beautiful trail, on a fine early spring morning. There's nothing like it. Incredible. It's excellent exercise, faster than walking, way better even than a sweet, silly Hallmark movie.

I would rather walk or ride a motorcycle.

Bike riding does sound amazing though. SIL bikes a lot both mountain and road so I bet she could help me but you’re right, bikes are very expensive. I was looking last night just for curiosity sake and I had no idea. but I’m sure we have plenty that will work haha

I’m not sure yet if I want to ride on a road or trail. I feel like a trail would be scary and I do like hiking. But I don’t really like regular walking on the road so maybe I’ll do biking for that. Idk.

You won't have any trouble finding a bike. Get a reconditioned one if you can't find a new one you want. Do get it at a bike shop, though... not a big box store. That would make you hate biking.

The road is scary. People don't pay attention when they're driving—dusty, gravel flying up in your face, noisy...

Trails are lovely, quiet & safe. Pick a bike trail, though. Once you get into shape a bit (doesn't take that long when you're biking), you can look into mountain biking if that appeals. I'm pretty sure I'm too old for that. I'm lucky enough to live near the Mickleson Trail—what a treasure!

I'll bet you have some amazing bike trails where you live, too. Many cities/towns have extensive walking/biking trail systems. It's like this secret world right where you live. It's maybe been there forever, but somehow you've never noticed. It was like that in Rochester MN when we were there. You could literally walk or bike all over the city, only infrequently coming into contact with actual roads. Magical. (I still prefer the mountains and woodlands, but urban trails are wonderful, too.)

Oh yeah no I knew it was fake, it just amazed me they thought that ridiculous lie was believable like.... oh yeah there’s never been any physical evidence in forever but suddenly a perfect sample of “Bigfoot hair” just happens to get stuck in the exact fence they are examining and then the sample just happens to “disappear” before they can analyze it I don’t know how these shows are even popular. That and the alien ones, ghost hunters, etc. It’s obvious they’re fake but I guess people just like the entertainment?

Nah, I didn't think you believed it. You just somehow triggered one of my "hobby horses".
