Still need to trim up the ends and use nail polish on it so it doesn't fray though
Wonder if she will ever know what normal life is...?My sweet grand niece...sporting her bow. She is our pandemic baby.

I don't either, but I do other people's birthdays when they mention them. I had already posted this by the time I saw your response. As for me?This has already been established, I am not a Virgo. Today is not my birthday. Check my profile page. There is no birthday listed. I do not actually exist and am nothing more than a figment of your imagination.
Seriously this is @sealer39 trying to cause trouble. It is not my birthday. When my birthday actually happens, no one will know. I don't do birthdays and have not for many decades.
Thought of @R2elk when feeding the birds earlier this evening. I shut the gate to the pen and thought one of my Columbian Wyandotte was running along the fence behind the small coop. Not a bird...it was a skunk in there with me about three feet away! Backed out of the pen, opened the gate and tossed a scoop of water at it to encourage it to run out the gate. Whew! A close call! Won't be going to the pens at 7:30 pm again without my pistol.Elk can't afford to share his bleach ... too many skunks! What's the count up to, now?
I make lye soap with hog lard and fine ashtray pumice...like Lava soap. Lye is tricky...if used before curing, it really burns. My paternal grandmother made something she called soap (Lye soap). That stuff would take the hide right off of you.
. Played that and both dogs came running to see what was in the living room! Lolrotf!Just found this random youtube vid. Weird. Wacky. WANT ONE!
If I recall correctly, elk is a Type 2 diabetic. Type 2 diabetics have to watch their sugar intake, and honey is pretty much pure sugar, like any other syrup. A pie, on the other hand, has much less sugar in it, as there is the dough and the fruit meat, neither of which have nearly as much sugar as a syrup, and can be sweetened further by the use of nonsugar sweeteners -- like the kinds that you find in little packets for your coffee.Elk, I am genuinely curious and want to understand this, not trying to be rude by saying this so hopefully it doesn’t come across that way, but you have said before that you cannot have honey, correct? But you can have pies and ice cream? Do you make a low sugar version of the pie or something? Substitute it? I am just curious because it seems like that would be a lot more sugar than a little honey? But maybe not? I am just very confused.![]()
