Fleece Scarfs:

I would buy 1/3 of a yard of fleece what ever color you want the scarf to be. Then I would cut it into 3-4" wide strips lenght wise, lay the 3 strips on top of each other and sew a seem down the middle of the lenght twice. Then I would cut down the sides of this about every 1/2 inch almost to the stiching, so it looks like fringe. Then throw it into the dryer for a couple of minutes and it's ready to give away or wear yourself!! I think I made about 20 of these one year for Christmas gifts.

Thanks for the scarf idea lowgap.....think I'll make a couple of those. Keep the ideas coming

Some of the things I am doing for gifts that will go into my baskets is Embroidered Kitchen Towels, canned Grape Jam, homemade cookies (assorted), Chocolate-dipped pretsel rods, Measuring cups or spoons, and maybe a thing or two more. Not really sure yet. Family is so big right now.

Cute idea and then add a lil' note saying "Whipping up kisses for the whole family" LOL

Ok THAT is cute!!!!

YOu could also get a large serving spoon and fill it with kisses and then saran wrap it, add a note saying " A spoonfull of kisses for the cook" or "for the family"

It almost midnight and I'm talking about chocolate.....thats almost like a Gremlin with water on his head!
