There’s a difference between not liking something and thinking something is wrong and needs to be changed.

What could the OP have done differently? What ways would you have done. Keep in mind, firearm use is rare in NZ. Also keep in mind this is an invasive species and relocation is not an option.

Oh ok. I thought ferrets were a pet not a wild animal. Must be an excaped one. I have a feeling there may be a black footed one or something which Is supposedly native.
I think ferrets were originally polecats before they were demesticated.
