warmth vs air quality?

My child just tried to cook ramen in the microwave. With no water. This has created a very smoky situation!

I scooped up the ducklings from the brooder and put them in a cat carrier outside while we try to air out the house. Trouble is that the outside temperature is 48 degrees. Normally I would just microwave a heat pack and put it in with them, but... no microwave.
I did find a warming pad that I use for work and put that under the cat carrier, and a blanket partially covering the carrier to try to keep some of the heat in.
Any other suggestions? How cleared out should the air be before I bring them back inside?

These guys are a week old, including one who hasn't been thriving.
We also are expecting a delivery of brand new babies sometime in the next three hours.

HELP!

Added a hot water bottle.
Looks like it's hovering around 80 degrees in there.

Hi, have you resolved the situation? You can set the ducklings in your car, and turn the heat on until your house airs out.

It's still a little chilly in the house from having all the windows open, but ducks are back inside.
Turns out that the tracking info on the new babies was a lie, so I don't need to worry about their extra tiny lungs and the extra stress of lingering smoke while they get over the stress of shipping. So I can now focus on worrying where the heck they are!
